First visit
From the front door to the car
A first visit takes about an hour. No form asks about your health: your doctor asks you in person, and nothing starts until you have said yes.

The order
What happens, step by step
- 1
Step 1: Arrive
Park beside the door and come in on the level walk. The front desk has a chair ready and takes your card.
- 2
Step 2: A talk
Your doctor asks what you want from care, what medicines you take and who else you see. You tell us as much as you like.
- 3
Step 3: A hands-on exam
Your doctor checks how you stand, move and feel along the spine. You stay dressed, and nothing needs lifting or twisting.
- 4
Step 4: X-rays, only if needed
If your doctor thinks one is medically necessary, you hear why and you can say no.
- 5
Step 5: Your plan, and the cost
Your doctor explains what was found and what is suggested. You get the cost in writing, and we do not promise a number of visits.
- 6
Step 6: Care, if you wish
If you want to go ahead, the first adjustment can be the same day. If you want to think about it, go home and call us.
